Collection: Paperclip Movement
Wondering what to do, how to make an impact during this time we are all living through? You are not alone, many are asking the same question.
We came across the paperclip movement sparked by E. Jean Carroll and got inspired!
During the Nazi occupation of Norway in WW11, Norwegians used paperclips as a symbol of resistance, wearing them on their lapels as a sign of solidarity and unity. Started by teachers, it was a subtle yet defiant act of resistance against occupiers and local Nazi authorities. (The Paper Clip Resistance).
E. Jean Carroll has revived the movement, and we decided to join in by offering paperclip t-shirts and sweatshirts designed by Julie Ray!
Wear your paperclip with pride and in solidarity, know that you are not alone. The paperclip cannot be banned, ignored, defunded.
